12:57 am - Oh yes, LJ.
Yeah, I haven't posted in ages. A lot of shit has happened since I last posted. I've managed to complicate my life with a woman who ended up turning out to help make things go down in flames. I'm finding out my ex-girlfriend is talking to my friends here about how she's going to visit them. I'm sure it's just to hang out or whatever.

On top of that, I'm quitting CU. For a couple of reasons: 1) I hate the professors, students and atmosphere of CU and Boulder. 2) I don't want 30,000 dollars of debt for some degree that could be replaced by a community college degree and I'd make the same amount in some entry level job.

I want to move back to the Denver area, but I'm already in debt as it is, and I can't move back in with my parents to gather enough money to get say, a safety deposit or anything because the welfare housing would count me as an income source and take away their money.

I want to move back to where I have friends and I want to get the fuck away from this bullshit drama. Fuck, I can't even land a job that makes more than $9 an hour. How the fuck am I supposed to pay off all my shit when I don't make any fucking money?

I'm fed up with women. I'm fed up with Boulder. I want the bullshit to end already.

2:47 am - Important Turning Point, Etc.
So here it is everyone:

For the past 3 years I've been making music. I haven't played any gigs and I barely know how to play my guitar. I've sold almost no CDs (by choice mostly) and as far as trying to make it in the music world, I've done nearly nothing productive.

Don't worry, this isn't what it sounds like.

I've made up my mind that I want to take my music to the next level. A semester from now I will be changing my major and enrolling into CU Denver's campus for their Audio Engineering degree.

What's my goal? Nothing as trivial as money.

It's a dream of mine to be able to tour, to travel and meet new people. See the places I've never been able to. Places I should have been but haven't yet.

I'm not sure if I'll make it, since I know nearly no one in the "industry" and no one high up has even acknowledged my musics' existence.

With any luck, during the next 3 years I'll meet some important local figureheads and really make an impression here. I'd love to play live shows locally, but:

1) I have no idea what I'd do live, since winamp can pretty much play for me at this point.

2) I can't afford a decent laptop either

These are some irritating obstacles indeed, but for me they aren't shit. I'll figure something out. It's all a matter of what I make happen. Wish me luck, and as always, tell your friends about Plantaganda!

2:54 am - Ozzfest 2007 Absurdity
Ok, so normally I'm not exactly one to go to Ozzfest, but I got two offers to go from people since the tickets were free this year. As I was saying, I'm not one to go to Ozzfest, or an outdoor concert in the day for the obvious reasons of me being a whiny bitch who hates the heat, and I don't like any festival where there are tons of people and I never have money or am willing to spend $8 on a slice of pizza (the list goes on and on.)

Like most festivals like this start, it was fucking hot and I was a whiny bitch as usual. We showed up and just sat around for a while on the grass waiting for the first band to play. Lordi was the first band to play, and I just kept making comments about black women and such and hoping for a mosh pit or something to break out, any excuse to quit standing there.

Now I'm not used to venues or music places with more than a couple thousand max. This place was fucking packed. Fiddlers Green can hold 16,823. There was damn near that there. So Lordi finishes playing and this is when the awesomeness begins. Static X begins playing and a pretty large mosh pit forms not too far from us. I rush over there ready to get my scrawny ass thrown around and get way too tired and then be hellishly thirsty afterwards.

The X marks the mosh. The dot is where we were beforehand.

So Static X is busy making everyone go \m/ and all of us were moshing out. However, I don't think the people around the mosh liked it very much because people at concerts seem to be way to fucking up tight to be there but are there anyway. So as the mosh is going on, there are empty plastic watter and beer bottles bouncing off people left and right.

Between songs and during the mosh we would throw them back playfully and it was all in good fun. Static X finished playing, the mosh ended, but the bottles kept getting thrown back and forth.

I'm not one to take credit in ensuing a riot, but I sure has hell played a large role in what happened. So there was this black guy near me (probably one of four in the entire place) and him and I ripped up a chunk of the "green" and hurled it over the sidewalk at the bottle throwers. Within 60 seconds there were retaliatory throwings of the grass.

So there I am laughing my ass off, and throwing large chunks of grass and bottles and anything I can find back at the people. At this time, the sidewalk the mosh occurred on was empty and it was now no mans land for the standoff of throwing shit.

I really must emphasize the amount of grass and mud being thrown. It was amazing, about 5 minutes into this war I looked around and the ENTIRE place was doing the same shit. As the time went on it got more and more out of control and therefore more dangerous and hilarious. I was picking up something to throw and just as I'm looking up again, an empty plastic Coors bottle was whipped into my face. I just made some dumb audible pain noise and laughed it off. Later on I was hit square in the chest with a very large chunk of the green and as before I let out a loud equally undignified noise as the time before.

I actually got a bruise on my lip from the bottle that hit me in the mouth. I took this today, and it looks a lot better than it did yesterday, when it was still pretty purple.

Soon after all of this began I had a guy almost fight me, a brutal fight, and an event staff guy get bombarded by chunks of the lawn while trying to stop us from throwing shit. Fucking epic.

A lot of other shit happened, like Ozzy Osbourne playing, but those things are meaningless in comparison to that shit.

I hope you enjoyed my tale of Ozzfest 2007.

12:48 am - Album For Sale!
As I said on my MySpace & Vampirefreaks pages, I finished the album Reach For The Stars.

And rather than just writing it over, I'm going to copy and paste the bulletin I posted:

Well, I just finished a new song. This concludes the album Reach For The Stars. As far as selling copies or anything, I do not have the money to make anything professional, so if anyone is intrested in a signed copy of a CD (just on the cheapest CD/Rs I can find) of Reach For The Stars, I will send them out for $5 each. I plan on selling professionally made CDs for the same cost and I will send out copies to people who buy the cheap shitty ones until I can afford to get the good ones.

I know it's kind of a crap deal at the moment, but hey- I'm shitty poor. Otherwise people will just have to wait until late August or September for the good CDs.

If you are interested in getting CD(s), email the official site with information.

Rock on guys, and thanks for listening and supporting me!
